It helps a lot of you show your build so we can modify it instead of throwing out random PvE builds.

[skill]mind blast[/skill][skill]fireball[/skill][skill]rodgort's invocation[/skill][skill]immolate[/skill][skill]aegis[/skill][skill]extinguish[/skill][skill]fire attunement[/skill][skill]resurrection signet[/skill]

Both the monks spells are optional slots. Wards, other monk spells, searing heat, glyph sac meteor shower, or whatever other utility is good there.

Meh, not really... Meteor Shower is serious deadweight for most of the time, bearing in mind it needs 2 skill slots to be effective.
I quite like Convert Hexes on a Mind Blaster, or Wards or... well... anything, really. Party support is win. ^_^

Extinguish is actually pretty good on an ele.. helping the monks out against those anoying mobs that spread like. 3-4 conditions on everyone.

Actually, I've been screwing around with pure was someone. 4 conditions removed from everyone for only 10 energy. If you can go rit, it's really, really worth it, way better than extinguish.

[skill]mantra of concentration[/skill][skill]Aura of Restoration[/skill][skill]Fire Attunement[/skill][skill]Fire Storm[/skill][skill]Rodgort's Invocation[/skill][skill]Immolate[/skill][skill]Glowing Gaze[/skill][skill]Resurrection Signet[/skill]

I've tried [skill]meteor shower[/skill] with [skill]arcane echo[/skill] but found the fights are to short usually, also tried [skill]channeling[/skill] doesn't seem to work to well and [skill]mind burn[/skill] don't like the exhaustion from it any ideas of a good elite i could use

Bearing in mind the OP was looking for a fire AoE build and assuming we're talking about NM (with less scatter), this is what I've been running as E/P

[skill]fire attunement[/skill][skill]aura of restoration[/skill][skill]Mind Blast[/skill][skill]mark of rodgort[/skill][skill]fire storm[/skill][skill]liquid flame[/skill][skill]breath of fire[/skill][skill]there's nothing to fear[/skill]

I know TNTF just got nerfed, but until I decide what I want to replace it, I'll keep it on my bar. I realise that there is no res, but in most NM situations especially in the first 3 campaigns, it really shouldn't be needed. However, if you really feel you need a hard/soft res of some description, I would suggest subbing it for Aura of Restoration or TNTF.

This build runs with the standard 16/13 Fire/ES attributes split and a high energy set. For me this gives 103 energy (other's max energy may vary due to armour rune setup. I have a couple of blessed/vitae pieces that I can't be bothered to change.)

Hope this helps

Either way, try and get Elemental Attunement from Geckokaru Earthwind from Perdition rock. It's an Elite Energy Storage skill that gives you 50% of the energy used for the spell back to you for 50 seconds with a 12 into Energy Storage.

It also stacks with the regular Attunement skills, which can end up giving you 80% of your energy back again. Coupled with Mark of Rodgort and Rodgort's Invocation, you have a very powerful AoE elementalist, with very little chance of needing to run away and regain energy.

Beat me to it. Yeah, dual attunements will let you spam Rodgorts, which is great. Id bring MS, and of course if you coordinate with other eles, a Searing Flames build.

[skill]mark of rodgort[/skill][skill]liquid flame[/skill][skill]glowing gaze[/skill][skill]immolate[/skill][skill]savannah heat[/skill][skill]Glyph of Lesser Energy[/skill][skill]fire attunement[/skill][skill]deep freeze[/skill]

Standard 16/13 fire/energy

8th slot is optional and can be changed from Deep Freeze to another AoE such as Meteor Shower, a resurrection skill/spell or any useful party skill such as Extinguish.

Cheers,
TB
